Incentives for EV Charging
The U.S. Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit provides a 30% tax credit covering the costs of the Level 2 EVIQO EV Charger and its installation, with a maximum credit of $1,000. To claim this credit, EV drivers need to submit Form 8911.
Moreover, businesses installing EVIQO electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2032, may be eligible for a 30% tax credit, up to $100,000, through the 30C Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit. Commonly known as the "federal tax credit," applicants now need to be situated in designated census tracts (with guidance and maps forthcoming from the IRS) and adhere to prevailing wage standards.
